DreamStick Adventures ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your family's privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

When you use DreamStick Adventures, we collect:

• Parent/guardian email address — used to deliver your child's videos and manage your subscription
• Child's first name — used to personalize the story and video
• Child's age — used to tailor the story's language and themes
• Story preferences — theme, character type, sidekick, and other choices you make in the story form
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the DreamStick Adventures service:

• Generate your child's personalized bedtime story using AI
• Create a narrated video using text-to-speech technology
• Email the finished video to your inbox
• Manage your subscription and send service-related updates

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering your videos.

3. Service Providers

To deliver our service we share your data with trusted providers under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Anthropic — AI story generation (child's name and preferences)
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech narration (story text only)
• Supabase — database and secure video file storage
• SendGrid — email delivery (parent email and video link)
• Stripe — payment processing (billing details only)

None of these providers are authorized to use your information for their own purposes.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

DreamStick Adventures is designed for use by parents and guardians. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13
• All information about a child is submitted by a verified parent or guardian
• We use children's information only to create and deliver their personalized video
• We do not share children's information with third parties for marketing or advertising

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without proper parental consent, please contact us immediately at hello@dreamstickadventures.com and we will delete it promptly.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and story preferences for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Video files may be retained for up to 90 days after cancellation to allow you to re-access recent videos.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you and your child
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by cancelling your subscription

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
